AirTrunk to build first data centre in Singapore

Data centre start-up AirTrunk has raised $SG450 million ($465 million) in financing to fund its expansion into the Asia Pacific region with the development of its first facility in Singapore.

The debt funding was undertaken with three global financiers: Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Natixis. Additional equity capital came from AirTrunk founder and chief executive, Robin Khuda, and shareholders, Goldman Sachs and TPG Sixth Street Partners (TSSP).
