AirTrunk to develop 110MW data centre in Sydney, Australia

Hyperscale data centre company AirTrunk has announced plans to develop a 110MW data centre in Sydney’s north (SYD2).

The new data centre will complement its existing facility in Sydney’s west (SYD1). AirTrunk has also acquired land adjacent to its two existing data centres, SYD1 and MEL1, which will enable both campuses to expand to 130MW of IT load each, bringing its total capacity in Australia to more than 370MW across three data centres.
