Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund Consortium acquires 88% stake in Australian data center platform AirTrunk

On the 17th, Macquarie Infrastructure Real Asset Division (MIRA) announced that the consortium led by the Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund 2 (MAIF2), which it is operating, has acquired 88% stake in the Australian data center platform company, AirTrunk.

The consortium acquired shares from existing shareholders Goldman Sachs, Sixth Street Partners (formerly TSSP) and founder Robin Khuda of AirTrunk. Founder Kuda will continue to assume the role of CEO of Airtrunk, with significant stakes in the future.
